Choose Your Funnel Goal

Before you build pages, emails or automation, decide the one job your funnel needs to do.

Your first funnel becomes much easier to build when every page points toward one audience, one outcome and one primary action.

First Funnel Live
Step 1 β€” Direction Before Design

Day 1 of 7 Β· Choose your goal

🎯 Today’s Mission

Give Your Funnel One Clear Job

Choose one audience, one goal, one primary action and one logical next step.

By the end of today, you should be able to explain your entire funnel in one simple sentence.

Choose Your Route

What Should Your Funnel Actually Do?

Pick the route that best matches the business outcome you need now.

A

Lead Generation

Use this when you want to turn visitors into leads.

Free guide, checklist, webinar, challenge, quiz or another useful resource.

Traffic β†’ Opt-in β†’ Thank-You β†’ Delivery / Welcome Email

B

Product Sales

Use this when people can buy without needing a sales conversation.

Course, template pack, ebook, toolkit or another self-serve offer.

Traffic β†’ Sales Page β†’ Checkout β†’ Thank-You β†’ Follow-Up

C

Calls or Services

Use this when the sale depends on fit, qualification or conversation.

Coaching, consulting, agency services, implementation or high-ticket services.

Traffic β†’ Service Page β†’ Qualification β†’ Booking β†’ Confirmation

D

Affiliate Marketing

Use this when you recommend another company’s product.

Add useful context, education or comparison before sending the visitor to the affiliate offer.

Traffic β†’ Bridge Page β†’ Optional Opt-in β†’ Affiliate Offer

E

Newsletter Growth

Use this when your main goal is building an audience you own.

Give people a clear reason to subscribe and continue the relationship through email.

Content β†’ Opt-in β†’ Welcome Email β†’ Ongoing Emails

F

Membership or Community

Use this when you sell recurring access, support, content or community.

The funnel should move the visitor from interest to enrollment and onboarding.

Traffic β†’ Sales Page β†’ Checkout β†’ Member Access β†’ Onboarding

The One-Job Rule

Complex Funnels Usually Start With an Unclear Goal.

ONE FUNNEL β†’ ONE AUDIENCE β†’ ONE PRIMARY GOAL β†’ ONE PRIMARY ACTION

When one funnel tries to collect leads, sell three products, book calls, grow a community and promote an affiliate offer at the same time, every job becomes weaker.

Your first version does not need to do everything your business will ever need. It only needs to accomplish one meaningful job well.

Still Unsure?

Use the Shortcut Rule

Choose the least complicated funnel that still creates a meaningful business outcome.

β†’
Want leads first?

Choose Lead Generation.

β†’
Have a self-serve product?

Choose Product Sales.

β†’
Sell a service requiring fit?

Choose Application / Booking.

β†’
Recommend someone else’s product?

Choose Affiliate.

β†’
Want an audience first?

Choose Newsletter.

β†’
Sell recurring access?

Choose Membership.

✍️ Day 1 Worksheet

Define the Funnel Before You Build It

Write these answers down. They become the foundation for the next six steps.

First Funnel Blueprint

Six decisions. One clear customer journey.

01

Who is this funnel for?

Write the most specific useful audience you can describe.

02

What problem, desire or situation brings them here?

Name the reason they would pay attention now.

03

What should this funnel accomplish?

Define the meaningful business or customer outcome you need.

04

Which funnel route fits that goal?

Lead Generation, Product Sales, Service, Affiliate, Newsletter or Membership.

05

What ONE action should the visitor take?

Opt in, buy, apply, book, click or join.

06

What happens immediately after that action?

Define the next logical step in the customer journey.

The Clarity Test

Put Your Funnel in One Sentence

If you understand the funnel clearly, you should be able to describe it without opening the page builder.

β€œI want [AUDIENCE] to visit this funnel so they can [VALUE / OUTCOME], and the ONE action I want them to take is [PRIMARY ACTION]. After that, they should [NEXT STEP].”

If that sentence contains several audiences, several goals or several competing CTAs, simplify it.

Can’t say it clearly? Don’t build yet. Simplify it.

Don’t Have an Offer Yet?

You Can Still Keep Moving.

You can begin with a lead-generation funnel while you develop your own paid offer.

Or, if you would rather start from a ready-made business and funnel system, you can optionally explore the Wealth Stack Ignite System .

Ignite is a shortcut. It is not required to complete First Funnel Live.

βœ… Your Day 1 Win

You Now Have Direction.

Before touching another template, you should now know four things.

WHO The funnel is for
WHAT It needs to accomplish
ACTION The visitor should take
NEXT What happens afterward

Tomorrow, you turn this direction into an offer a stranger can understand.
